FEELING DIRECTIONS

By using different bindings per line, not only a different visual differentiation is created, but also a relief in the fabric that gives a different haptic experience per line. The relief on the fabric makes us aware of our senses, thus an extra sensory observation is added.

This table cloth set is designed in assignment of the Dutch Textile museum in Tilburg.

 

各々の線を異なる織りで織ることにより、独特な視覚的相違が創られます。また生地のレリーフはそれぞれの線ごとに異なる触覚を与えます。生地のレリーフは感覚に気づきを与え、感覚の考察が追加されます。
